About Candlelight Reiki
My name is Rachel Carbone and I am a Certified Reiki III Master Practitioner in the Usui System of Natural Healing, in accordance with the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition.
I have been a Reiki practitioner since April, 2010. I have helped many relax and heal in all areas of their life.
Reiki is also wonderful for your pets!
My Golden Retreiver, Guthrie (pictured below with his brother, Colby, our Westie) was helped with Reiki.
When Guthrie turned 11 years old, he was diagnosed with spleen cancer. His wonderful doctor removed the spleen, but he still had cancer all over his body. Since Goldens' life expentancy is 11-12 years, we decided to not put him through the agony of chemo. The doctor said to take him home and make him as comfortable as possible. He said he would probably live 2-3 weeks.
When I got home from work, my husband had brought Guthrie home. I found him laying on the floor lifeless. I got on my knees and did Reiki energy on him. He suddendly shook, stood up and went to the door wanting to "go out"!
Guthrie lived to be 12 years old!!! All this time we continued giving him his prescribed Prednisone and pain medicine. Eleven months after his diagnose he was finally too tired and went "home". Those 11 months were wonderful for all of us. We watched him have a full and painless happy life running around our yard with Colby. I truly believe that Reiki along with his medicine and doctor's care made this happen!!
